Rosemary Brook
Background
Rosemary Brook describes herself as a "Leading PR professional with extensive experience of communications strategy ad issues/crisis management for global companies and brands”.[1]
Relationship with the Tobacco Industry
Brook ran a public relations company called Brook Wilkinson that worked for the Tobacco Manufacturers' Association in the 1990s and 2000s.[2][3]
Brook also worked for PR firm Edelman.[1] During this time, she also worked with the TMA and British American Tobacco.[4][5]
Brook was a Trustee of the Industry and Parliament Trust, and Chairman of its Executive Committee. The Trust says it is an "independent, non-lobbying, non-partisan charity that provides a trusted platform of engagement between parliament and UK business".[6] Imperial Tobacco is one of the Trust's supporters.[7]
