Nicholas Scheele

Jump to navigationJump to searchSir Nicholas Scheele was a senior independent non-executive Director of British American Tobacco (BAT) from 2008 to 2013, who served on the company's CSR, Nominations and Remuneration Committees.[1][2]
Scheele was also on the Board of Reynolds American from May 2014 up to his death in July 2014.[3]
Background
Previously, Scheele was President and Chief Operating Officer of Ford Motor Company (October 2001 – February 2005).[1] He had a long career with Ford during which time he held numerous significant positions, including Chairman of Ford Europe, Chairman and CEO of Jaguar Cars Limited and President of Ford of Mexico.[1]
Scheele was knighted in 2001 "for his service to British Exports".[1]
