Jennifer Li has been on the Board of Directors of Philip Morris International (PMI) since 2010.[1]

According to her profile on PMI’s website, Li is the Chair of the company’s Audit Committee and a Member of the Finance and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.[1]

Background

In 2008, Li became the Chief Financial Officer at Baidu which is the largest Internet search engine in China and the third-largest independent search engine in the world. Li left Baidu in September 2017[2] but re-joined in April 2018 to serve as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of Changcheng Investment Partners, Baidu’s newly initiated growth fund.[1]

From 1994 to 2008, Li held a number of senior finance positions at various General Motors companies in China, Singapore, the United States and Canada.[3]

Li has received $350,000 per annum for her role on the PMI Board.[1]
