Jacek Olczak

Jacek Olczak became Chief Operating Officer at Philip Morris International (PMI) in January 2018.[1] He was previously appointed Chief Financial Officer at PMI in 2012, succeeding Hermann Waldemer.[2]

In September 2017, the tobacco company announced that Olczak would take on the role as Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 January 2018.[3]


Long-Standing Career with Philip Morris

Olczak joined PMI in 1993 as Manager Finance and Administration, and has held several leadership positions, including:<ref name = Who>

  • Chief Financial Officer (2012)
  • President European Union Region (2009)
  • Managing Director for Germany and Austria (2006)
  • Managing Director Poland and Baltic States (2004)
