Background
From 1988 to 1997, Fishburn was the Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for Kensington (England) and served as a Parliamentary Private Secretary in the administrations of Prime Ministers Margaret Thatcher and John Major.[1]
Before becoming an MP, Fishburn was Executive Editor of The Economist magazine for nine years.[2]
Relationship with the Tobacco Industry
Fishburn was on the Board of Directors of Philip Morris International between 2008 and May 2014.[3]
Previously, he served on the Board of Directors of Altria Group (1999 -2008).[2]
