David Clelland is a former Labour MP for Tyne Bridge, in North-East England (1985-2010).

Opposed Tobacco Control Measures in UK

In June 2009, Clelland was criticised for campaigning against Government plans to ban the display of cigarette packets in shops and newsagents without declaring a family link to a senior lobbyist for the Tobacco Retailers Alliance.[1]
